I went out for a chilly 4.5 miles this morning. The slippery footing was very nerve racking for the first couple miles, but then I began to remember how to run on ice. (Thanks to living in Logan I picked up on this skill, That city is a beautiful icebox.)
I ran another 10.5 miles this afternoon in the hills above the U of U campus. The snow there is 6 inches or more deep. It was pretty fun to run in, but my pace was slower than usual. Oh Well. It was funny to see all the hikers with their boots and crampons as I went by in my nimbii. (That is the plural form for numbus.?)
