I did 11 miles easy in the late morning.  The temp kept rising, so I decided to end with 11.  Then tonight I did an easy 8 in the evening.  The weather was still pretty hot, but the sun wasn't nearly as intense.  This should be a good training week.

I ran the Murray 5k.  I knew that Teren Jameson was there.  He went out super fast as usual, and I just drafted behind him.  We went through an uphill mile at 4:50, then downhill mile 4:53.  By this point I was tired and soon let go of Teren when He put on a surge.  I ended up jogging it in for 2nd.  It was fun.

Then I went on a couple little cool down runs to loosen up.  It felt good.

I ran alone up in Alpine.  After staying up late with the fireworks I slept in and then ate and went running.  Wow it was hot.  I stopped a couple times to get some water.  My legs were tired by the end of the run, it could in part be because of the heat, but it was also a long run.  I am looking forward to more marathons.

I ran 5 miles around the streets of Logan.  It was nice to run when it isn't hot.  Planning on running more tonight.

I did 19 miles in the afternoon/evening.  My legs feel pretty good.

I ended up being crazy busy all day today.  I could only sqeeze in 9.2 miles.  My legs were tired, but I think that was from all the other stuff I am doing.

I ran 13 miles up Logan canyon with Meagan biking.  It was nice, although it got a little warm by the end.

Then I ran 8.5 with Taylor up Lefthand fork.  That was some intense climbing the first half.  We ran into some cows up there.  The bull was huge, so you had better be careful up there.

I woke up early and met with Sasha on the Des News Marathon course.  We ran the first 10 miles at race pace.  Then I ran 6 miles easy with Jeff McClellan.  It was nice.

I woke up super early to get to the bus by 3:30 am. Then I warmed up. I noticed that there were more than just the 2-3 anticipated kenyans, there were 6. That wasn't very exciting. I went out comfortably fast the first half marathon. I was with the kenyans at 12 miles and then they took off. By the time that I was out of the canyon, 16 miles in, then I was feeling horrible. My legs were just not moving. Sasha ran with me for about 2 miles until mile mark 20. The last 10k were the most miserable miles that I have ever run. I was walking and then jogging about 8 minute pace. I was just glad for the race to be over. After the race then my legs hurt horribly. But I ate some food and within 20-30 minutes I was feeling good. I am about 95% recovered three days later. Great job Fast Running Blog runners.

I hiked Mount Timpanogas with Meagan all day.  It was beautiful.  We saw a porcipine, mountain goats, and pine hens.  It was a blast.  My legs felt great.
Then This evening I ran 10 miles easy in Logan.  It was nice to be back for a few days.  Meagan and I are flying to Poland this Saturday after the Minuteman 5k.  That should be a blast.
