Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next couple years I would like to focus on the Marathon. My goal is to hit the Olympic "A" Standard in the next 2 years. I would also like to place at a USA marathon championship in the top 10. I have a long way to go, but I have a long time to get there.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running in the Olympics would have to be my long time running goal. That would be awesome.

Personal:

I married Meagan in March 2005. We don't have any kids yet. Both Meagan and I ran at the University of Utah, and then we transferred to Utah State in Fall 2005 because the U of U dropped their Men's Track and Field program.

I enjoyed a nice hilly 9 mile loop up left hand fork in Logan canyon. It was hot, but was very enjoyable due to the views in the mountains.

Did you do Ricks Canyon-Steel Hollow? Any snow up there? I'm racing Logan Peak run next weekend and am trying to anticipate how much snow there will be. I know Jardine Juniper is clear but muddy.

Jon,

I am sorry to say that I don't know the names of the trails up there. I just run on all of them. I will have to talk to you about which one I ran during WBR. Good luck on the Logan Peak Run.
