Short-Term Running Goals:

In the next couple years I would like to focus on the Marathon.  My goal is to hit the Olympic "A" Standard in the next 2 years.  I would also like to place at a USA marathon championship in the top 10.   I have a long way to go, but I have a long time to get there.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running in the Olympics would have to be my long time running goal.  That would be awesome.

Personal:

I married Meagan in March 2005.  We don't have any kids yet.  Both Meagan and I ran at the University of Utah, and then we transferred to Utah State in Fall 2005 because the U of U dropped their Men's Track and Field program.

I went running this morning up on the bonneville shoreline trail above the university of Utah for 90 minutes. It felt great. Tonight I am going to sugarhouse to train with Demetrio's running group. That ought to be a blast. The Legs are feeling better and better. Yeah.

I went to run with Tyler and Demetrio's group.  It was nice to see the wide range of runners who were there.  Demetrio gave me some good tips on marathon running.  I ended up just doing some 400s and stopped when I felt too tired.   I am excited for TCM and for the marathons further in the future.

I woke up and ran an hour this morning.  I was a little sore to start, but I began feeling much better after a mile or so.  Then I ran 90 minutes this afternoon.  That was hot.  95 degrees feels like the olympic marathon in China ;)
